Competition Routine Consulting
Locations and Dates:

(includes classes A, AA, AAA, college, JV, etc.)
How it works:
Consulting with The Diamond Within will be offered at varying locations and for various class and styles (jazz, kick, etc.). Teams that register their routines will have their routine(s) scored using the Minnesota State High School League score sheet for the current year. These scores will not count towards the final decision for that day of competition and will not be seen by any other teams, judges, etc. Tami Krause will note comments and critiques throughout the routine using either or both short hand notation and verbal recordings. The routine will be evaluated in an e-mail format, sent to the head coach within 48 hours of being scored, which will include scores and written explanation for the scores assigned based on the score sheet criteria, it will include a detailed description of routine observations, a recap of overall positive and negative team accomplishments at the competition and MORE! Tami Krause will be available via e-mail for questions regarding the routine notes/scores for 48 hours following the evaluation being sent out. Tami offers her feedback from a personal perspective, following years of dance team coaching, judging and consulting.
Teams wishing to use Tami’s consulting must agree to or be made aware of the following:
- Scores will not be used within the actual outcome of any competition
- Scores are subjective to Tami Krause’s opinion and do not in anyway mean they are the “right” scores, just her personal scores and opinions based on the criteria as interpreted by Tami and from her personal training/experience and rankings. They may differ quite a bit from the actual judges scoring of the routine that day due to many variables.
- Other teams, coaches, judges, etc. will have NO access to a team’s notes, scores, comments, observations or noted evaluations. Only the team that is being scored will be able to view the comments/scores/notes. Comments/scores/notes will be kept confidential by Tami Krause. Tami will discuss comments/scores/notes with head coaches only. If permission is requested and given by TDW all forms may be shown to others, but only with permission prior to sharing the forms/scores/comments.
- Only pre-registered routines that have paid in full will be judged at the time of their performance.
- Scores for the same routine, but at different competitions, by Tami Krause may change from competition to competition due to factors including, but not limited to: different teams, personal performance by the dancers varying, routine changes/corrections from competition to competition, order of performance, etc. All judging, scoring, comments and evaluation are subject to change.
- Should a team utilize all of the suggested evaluation comments offered by Tami Krause, there is NO guarantee that your routine placement/ranking will be affected or a first place achieved. All judging, scoring, comments and evaluations are not final.
- Comments and suggestions are your decision to utilize or not to use.

Video Routine Consulting
Submit your routine on video (up to 4 different angles, competition performance venues, etc. per routine) for critique and evaluation. Comments will be shared primarily via e-mail. Comments, suggestions and evaluation will be provided within 1 week of receiving your video. Multiple rate applies to routines submitted at the same time only.
